Brain Machine Interface (BMI)

Check out this video about a Brain Machine Interface technology that allows humans to control robots / machines with their mind! This is a collaborated project that involved Honda to further advance technology. What is possible? What can humans achieve? Who really knows? With enough time, what CAN'T we achieve?

There is already technology for an amputee to move a synthetic arm using his thoughts. Can you imagine someone playing a piano with synthetic hands using his mind? Of course, with this kind of technology, there will be people bringing up scenerios in movies where robots take over the world. Let's not be too original in our thinking here. :)

The point of sharing this video is to show you that what ever it is you feel may be limiting you from achieving your goals, realize that you really don't know what you're truly capable of. Think back at the times in your life when you ended up doing something that at first you thought was impossible but is now as easy as chewing gum. Don't place limits on yourself that most likely don't even exist. Believe and trust in your ability to accomplish any goal you have a burning desire for.

Too many times we erroneously place limits on ourselves due to past failures and believe that these limits are set in stone. Just because a past experience "proves" you failed at something, doesn't mean that you will continue to fail if you took another shot at it.

If you have a hard time believing in yourself, that you can do great things and live the life of your dreams, then just put your belief in the human race and that if some human somewhere can accomplish a goal you're striving for, it's proof that you can too. The most successful people truly believe that if someone else can do something, to them, it's evidence that they can too.
